Local Area - Manasota Key Beaches

If you are a beach lover you will be spoilt for choice with the superb selection of tropical beaches within the immediate and local areas.

There are 4 beaches in the immediate area on the barrier island of Manasota Key and plenty more beautiful beaches slightly further a field.

We have detailed below some of the best beaches on the South West coast of Florida to give you a taste of the delights that await during your stay.

Manasota Beach is located on the northern end of the island and boasts 14 acres of gulf front beach and sand dunes with special areas set aside for sheltered tables, barbecue pits, boardwalks and bathhouse facilities.

Englewood Beach

 Englewood Beach is the most popular beach on Manasota Key and is the closest to the Villa taking only 10 minutes to get there.  Parking costs 25 cents per hour from 9:00am to 4:00pm.  Picnic tables, showers and restrooms are provided, with many places to eat nearby.

 

Blind Pass Beach is the most isolated beach on the key, ideal for total relaxation.  There is free parking, picnic tables, showers and restrooms.  There is also a nature trail that you can walk with dunes and wildflowers.

Stump Pass Beach

Stump Pass Beach is on the southern end of Manasota key with limited free parking.  It is a great place to visit to get a feel of what Florida was like many years ago.  It is not crowded and you can walk the beach from the Gulf of Mexico to the Bay and witness some of the most spectacular sunsets.
