There are numerous restaurants within the local area from casual to formal dining.  There is also many fast food and take away establishments to choose from.

In addition, there are a large number of shops from small family business to large department stores.

Shopping

The nearest supermarket to the villa is Winn Dixie, located off Sunnybrook Road.  Winn Dixie is a large supermarket where you will find every grocery you will need.  They also sell fresh seafood, fresh meat, alcohol, toiletries and tobacco products.  

There is a large Wal-Mart approximately 10 minutes from the villa which sells a variety of products including food, toiletries, clothes, shoes, makeup, electrical goods, towels, toys, alcohol and tobacco products at a very reasonable price.

Port Charlotte Shopping Mall is just 20 minutes drive from the villa where you will be spoilt for choice with the many clothes, shoes, toy and sports shops.  There is plenty of free parking and the centre is fully air-conditioned throughout and provides a food court and a 16 screen cinema.

Fishermen's Village in Punta Gorda is approximately 30 minutes drive from the villa where you can browse around the shops in idyllic surroundings, eat lunch at a waterfront restaurant and even hire a boat out for a couple of hours.

 

Additional Information

Please note that the legal age for purchasing tobacco products is 18 and the legal age for purchasing alcohol is 21, it is very likely that you will be asked for photo identification when purchasing these products as they are very vigilant in every shop and restaurant within the USA.
